Most Classic Whey or economical whey uses whey protein concentrate 80% grade. Its cheaper than WPI but still a very high quality protein source. Whey Protein Concentrate of whey protein is usually 80% protein and is the REAL protein source for muscle building. It is the most purest form of whey - maintaining lactoferrin which lacks in WPI and WPH. The rest of the product consists of lactose (4-8%), fat, minerals, and moisture. Whey Depot Protein contains 35% Whey Protein Concentrate 80% grade.

Whey Protein Hydrolysate consist of long protein chains that have been broken down into shorter chains called peptides. This makes this type of whey protein more easily absorbed by the body and may reduce the potential for allergic reactions. Hydrolyzed whey protein is often used in infant formulas and sports and medical nutrition products. Hydrolysis does not reduce the nutritional quality of the whey protein. Due to its bitter property, it's commonly not used as a standalone product but most commonly in a post workout formula. Whey Depot is infused with 15% Whey Protein Hydrolysate 80% grade.
